Anthony M. Lanier, II is a philanthropist, advocate for the community, a champion for the youth, and has a genuine love for family and community. Lanier graduated from Alabama A&M University and was signed by the Washington Redskins of the National Football League (NFL) in 2016 as an undrafted free agent. Lanier’s professional career includes being a former Defensive End for the Los Angles Chargers, Kansas City Chiefs, and New Orleans Saints. Later, Lanier played in the CFL where he was signed to the Saskatchewan Roughriders on March 2, 2021. He remained with the Roughriders until his contracted ended in December 2024. Lanier was the CFL Top Performer of the Week and led the league in Defense
