Wykena Brown Food Creator
Wykena Brown | Littleton, CO, United States
Le Cordon Bleu trained chef. I ran my own Cajun food business for three years and taught culinary arts to more than 100 high school students. I create short form food content as ChefFoxxy, and I write, shoot, edit and caption every piece of it myself. My work is honest and unfussy: real hands, a real working kitchen, no fake enthusiasm. I specialize in kitchen tools and gadgets, cookware, small appliances, food and pantry brands, and anything a busy person actually uses at home. If a product works I show you exactly why it works, from a chef who has used the professional version of it.

FAQ
Who is your audience?
Home cooks, mostly women 30 to 60, who want real food without a culinary degree. A large part of my audience is Black and Gen X, a group that spends heavily on food and kitchen products and almost never sees itself in food marketing. They follow me for technique they can actually repeat, honest opinions on what is worth buying, and food that looks like something you would really make on a Tuesday. They trust a recommendation from a trained chef far more than one from a lifestyle account.
What brands have you worked with?
I am new to paid brand work, so I will be straight with you: my portfolio is my own. I built and marketed Kena's Cajun Kitchen myself for three years, doing all the photography, video and social that grew it to roughly $110,000 a year and up to 200 customers a day at festivals. I have also produced a full product review video for a kitchen tool on my own, start to finish, which is the exact format I deliver here. You are not paying for a name on my resume. You are paying for a trained chef who can shoot and edit, and who will not recommend something she would not use.
