About Corey Cronk
We’re a husband-and-wife team creating UGC, product photography, recipes, and cooking videos for food, kitchen, and home brands. We shoot real cooking in our own kitchen, so your product appears the way customers actually use it. We show it from all angles, from start to finish. We show how we came up with the ideas and answer the who, what, where, when, and why. We show how it arrived, how we unbox it, how we use it, clean it, and care for it. We show how it benefits us, all while connecting with people in an authentic, interactive way.
Why we started Messy Plate Society:
We’ve been on the brand side for 25+ years, hiring creators for product content. We hired folks who didn’t take the time to learn what my true end goal was. Every extra angle, sales pitch, product detail, unboxing, review, photo, and new use scenario added to the bill, and costs climbed quickly. We built this to work differently. We build to solve your needs generously, covering more angles, more settings, and more in-use moments, and we price fairly. We want you to use our content because we understand this is a partnership. In return, we use the content on our own channels for relationship and partnership marketing, and in our portfolio.
Marketing experience behind the content:
We bring 25+ years of combined marketing and sales experience with major brands, on both the B2B and direct-to-consumer sides. We know what buyers look for, and we build content around it. We identify the questions and pain points your customers have, then show how your product resolves them. The result is content that sells your value proposition and gives customers a clear reason to choose your product.
Content that answers every buyer question:
Customers hesitate at different points, and each type of content addresses one:
1. Unboxing and packaging: Shows what arrives and how well it’s protected, which reduces concerns about shipping damage and sets expectations.
2. First use and real cooking scenarios: Shows the product working in a real kitchen, so buyers can picture it in their own.
3. Use and care tutorials: Answers “Is this hard to maintain?” before it becomes a reason not to buy or a reason to return it. How do I clean it? How is it stored? How do most people use it? What’s the warranty like?
4. Product photography: Covers standalone, lifestyle, and in-use shots, so your listings answer questions at a glance.
5. Custom recipes: Give customers a reason to use your product again and again, and give you content for your site, blogs, emails, and social.
Together, they take a customer from first impression to confident purchase, and they cut down on questions, hesitation, and returns after the sale.
What we offer:
- UGC cooking videos
- Product photography
- Custom recipe creation and development
- Unboxing, product review, and use and care tutorials
- Full content production for brand collaborations
Brand collaborations:
When two brands launch a collaboration, such as a specialty food brand pairing with a cookware brand, the content has to show both products working together. We produce the full content package: recipes built around both products, standalone and lifestyle photography, cooking videos, and social-ready assets. Both brands get consistent content that tells one story from a single team.
Categories we work in:
Cookware, knives and cutlery, kitchen tools and gadgets, small appliances, food storage, dinnerware, ingredients and specialty foods, and home and entertaining.
How we work:
Every project starts with aligning on goals. Before we shoot, we learn the purpose of the content, who your audience is, and what success looks like for you. That way, both sides agree on the plan before work begins.
Align: You send the product, and we discuss your goals, audience, and where the content will run.
Plan: We confirm the key messages, shot list, and recipes before filming.
Create: We shoot and edit with your goals as the measure.
Deliver: You receive the finished content within the agreed timeline, with revisions included.
We respond within 24 hours and keep you updated from product arrival to delivery.
Pricing and add-ons:
Usage rights for paid ads, raw footage, and rush delivery are available as add-ons at fair and negotiable rates. Standard ingredients are included. Specialty ingredients and requested props are quoted up front, so there are no surprises.
Review content is created for your product pages, social channels, and ads. Per Amazon and FTC guidelines, it is not posted as a customer review.
If you sell anything used in a kitchen or around a table, message us. We’d like to discuss how we can help with your brand or product.
