in 2025 I sold everything that I owned in the UK. I sold my house, my car, all my possessions and retired early to go slow travelling around the world.
However, things did not go to plan. I fell ill in Malaysia and was diagnosed with a debilitating auto immune disease and have had to return to the UK for medical treatment.
Back in the UK and homeless I am working towards recovering to get back to full time travelling as soon as possible.
On my YouTube channel Retire and Travel the World, I share what it is really like to sell everything that you own to go slow travelling and when it all goes wrong. This is my story of how I am fighting to release my retirement dream despite the obstacles.
