4 Best Influencer Outreach Email Templates That Are Guaranteed to Get You a Response

Brands have become accustomed to leveraging the power of influencers for things such as sponsored posts on social media, product reviews, video ads, or dozens of other types of user-generated content.

When it comes to working with influencers, the most important part is your initial outreach for collaboration. You should spend a good chunk of time crafting the perfect influencer outreach email, as this will save you a ton of time and energy down the road.

How to Write an Influencer Outreach Email

Although we’ve included some free Influencer outreach email templates below, you should still understand what makes a good influencer outreach email.

Influencer pitch emails should follow a few fundamental guidelines. It’s important to realize that most content creators receive dozens, if not hundreds, of emails from brands looking to collaborate with them every month.

By following these guidelines, you’ll be able to stick out from the crowd.

Keep Emails Short and Sweet

You need to assume that the content creator that receives your email outreach is going to be skimming it over.

Always keep the emails short and sweet. Be sure to break up large paragraphs into multiple paragraphs of 1-2 sentences each. Make it easy to skim, or at least easy enough to understand if someone is skimming.

The worst thing you can do is send an email that appears as a wall of text. This might be the creator's 10th email of the day, so you don’t have the luxury to write an email that takes 2 minutes to read.

Use Personalization

Personalization is when you use unique details specific to that person in the email, this is a key component of your influencer outreach email.

When sending your email to the influencer, using their first name to address them is a must. On top of this, you’ll want to make some mention of their content, whether it be a compliment or an observation.

Personalization immediately sets you apart from all the other emails that fail to use the influencer's name or other details. It also shows the influencer that you’re a real person that has put effort into reaching out.

Leverage Compensation Structure

It’s unlikely you will have a full idea of how much you’re willing to compensate an influencer upon your first time reaching out to them.

This being said, you should always make an effort to entice the influencer into responding by mentioning the compensation structure, especially if is one that is favored by them.

For example, if you’re going to be paying a TikTok influencer cash in exchange for some work, be sure to mention that this task will come along with cash compensation.

This shows that you are willing to provide value to the influencer in exchange for their services.

Now that we understand the fundamentals of writing a good influencer outreach email, let’s look and some influencer outreach examples so that you can get some inspiration for your emails.
