Once you’ve set up your TikTok for Business account, you can use the TikTok Creative Center. 

1. Navigate to the Trend Intelligence tab

The ‘Trend Intelligence’ tab is in the top right-hand corner of your screen. Click on the tab and then navigate to ‘Songs’.

2. Browse the top trending songs 

On this page, you’ll be faced with a curated list of TikTok’s trending Top 100 songs. 

This list will change depending on the time frame you specify in the top left-hand drop-down menu, and whether you want ‘Popular’ or ‘Breakout’ songs to be displayed. 

Alternatively, you can search for a specific song, artist, or theme in the search bar. 

3. Look at the songs’ analytics

When you’ve found a song you’re interested in, learn more about it by pressing ‘See analytics’.

Note that any listed song with ‘Approved for business use’ underneath its title is a part of the TikTok Creator Center’s audio library.

In this tab, you’ll be shown a line graph of the song’s popularity over the course of a month. TikTok will also specify how long the song has been trending in your country, and how the song is currently performing in the context of its trending lifetime. 

 

 

You’ll then be shown the song’s audience insights. This includes age demographics and the top affiliated trending topics of the TikTok videos currently using the song.  



 

Next, you’ll be shown the top five regions the sound is currently trending in.

This information should help you better evaluate if the song will continue to trend in your target regions. You’ll also be able to find out if it’s being used within your target audience age range, and for topics relatable to your brand. 

4. Find inspiration in ‘related videos'

Once you’ve found a song you think your brand may like to use, navigate to the ‘See related videos’ button in the top right-hand corner of the screen.

Here, you’ll be taken to the top trending TikTok videos in your region that are using this sound.

 

Within these videos, you can find content inspiration for your adverts. Find examples that caught your attention, and think about how you can communicate your brand's messaging with a similar idea or format. 

How Can I Use the TikTok Creative Center to Find Video Trends?

1. Navigate to the Trend Intelligence tab

The ‘Trend Intelligence’ tab is in the top right-hand corner of your screen. Click on the tab and then navigate to ‘TikTok Videos’.

2. Filter the trending results and browse 

On this page, you’ll be faced with an extensive display of TikTok’s trending videos — AKA the TikTok Ads Library.

This list will change depending on the time frame you specify in the top left-hand drop-down menu (last 7 days or 30 days). It will also change depending on which insight you want to see trending videos for. You can choose your filtering insight in the drop-down menu in the right-hand corner, as seen in the below image.

Choose the insight that best matches your campaign’s objective to make the results as relevant to your needs as possible.

3. Find your inspiration through related videos 

Now it’s time to browse through the video results and find videos you think relate to your brand and its objectives. For each video you choose to watch, TikTok will provide ‘related videos’, so you can start to draw similarities and comparisons.
